Alerts that matter
The reason people turn off their camera notifications is that they never stop. Luma’s analytics tell a person from a vehicle from a branch in the wind, so you hear about the delivery, the car in the drive at 2am, and nothing else. Vehicle detection can trigger the pathway lighting. Non-motor detection covers bikes and scooters without the noise.
Everything is reviewable with smart search, so finding Tuesday afternoon takes seconds, not an evening.

Our own technicians run the wire, place the cameras where they see what matters without dominating the elevation, and test every view before handoff. In new construction we coordinate with the builder so wire, power and rack space are planned before drywall. Then we walk you through it, and our service plans keep firmware, storage and coverage current for years.

Where is my camera footage stored?
On a network video recorder in your own equipment rack, so the footage stays in your house and is available even if the internet is down. Cloud backup is available as a second copy. You are never renting access to your own footage.
Will I get alerts every time a leaf moves?
No. Luma’s AI analytics distinguish people, vehicles and non-motor traffic from wind, shadows and animals, so notifications fire for the events you asked about and nothing else. Alerts are customizable by camera, zone and time.
Can the cameras work with my Control4 or Crestron system?
Yes. Camera views appear on the same touch panels, remotes and app as the rest of the house, and events can trigger automation: a vehicle in the drive turns on the pathway lights, the alarm arming lowers the shades and locks the doors.
Do you offer professional monitoring?
Yes, for alarm systems. Intrusion, fire and environmental sensors can be professionally monitored, integrated with the whole-home system or as a stand-alone system focused on the essentials.
How many cameras do I need?
Most homes are well covered with six to twelve cameras: the drive and front door, side yards, rear elevation, pool, garage and any outbuildings. We walk the property and place cameras where they see what matters without dominating the house.
